The little rules of the night

Every gate you pass earns one point. In all three modes, five stars charge your Moonshield. It absorbs one collision and makes you briefly invincible. While your shield is active, extra stars count towards your flight statistics. Every ten gates, you reach a new sky. In Night Flight, gaps get narrower and some gates start moving from gate nine. Cozy has wider, stationary gaps and a gentler pace. Hardcore starts much faster, with narrow gaps and moving gates from the start. Five stars charge your Moonshield here, too. Each mode has its own high score. Under Your hat, choose one of seven hats or fly without one. On a phone, swipe the hat list sideways. Hats are purely cosmetic; your choice is saved and your hitbox stays the same. Space / ↑ / W / click / tap = flap, P / Esc = pause, M = sound, F = fullscreen, R = retry after a flight. Switching tabs pauses the game automatically. Your settings and personal bests are saved on this device when your browser allows it. The optional global leaderboard requires an internet connection. Your name and score become public when you submit them. This is a casual leaderboard without cheat-proof score verification.
